New website on ComicFury: Pin Drop
by Reinder Dijkhuis
I'm rerunning my wordless comic series Pin Drop from the late 1990s on new ComicFury website. Right now, there's a piece of newly drawn cover art, and the comic itself will be updated daily until it's done.

Pin Drop was originally the title of a minicomic I published in 1998 containing 5 wordless stories. It's quite a nice collection - the five stories hang together surprisingly well despite covering a wide range of genres and settings. Some were autobiographical, others were pure fantasy. One was written by Geir Strøm; the other four were all my creation.

I've thought about putting out a sequel or an expanded edition. There isn't enough suitable material for a sequel, and an expanded edition would arguably be like a CD reissue with bonus tracks stuck in at random points, interfering with the flow. I have decided, though, to make the web version the Expanded Edition, because the added stories have to be sorted somewhere. In addition to extra stories by me, there's also one with a script by my good friend Barbara Stok.

New vote incentive
by Reinder Dijkhuis
At long last, there's a new Vote incentive on Top Web Comics. Actually, there's three queued up. Vote for Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan in March and each week, there'll be a new page-in-progress for the storyline Feral. It will be a while before that story will run on the ComicFury version of the website, but it is the story that was running on the Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan main site before my life got super-busy and I had to interrupt it a few years ago. The last fifty or so pages of the storyline were all in pencil, but Aggie Janicot and I are now inking and colouring them digitally so that the look of those pages will be more visually consistent. So vote for Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan on Top Web Comics to see what we're working on! New incentive every Friday in March.
I'm not David Bowie, but I can do campaigns, maybe.
by Reinder Dijkhuis
It has come to my attention that I'm different from David Bowie in two significant respects:

1. I'm not as cool, stylish or photogenic as David Bowie. Obviously.
2. Unlike David Bowie, I can't just drop a bunch of new product on people all of a sudden and expect it to sell or get airtime. I just can't.

To be able to drop a bunch of new product like a book, I have to first rebuild my audience. To do that, I have to create new work. To do that, I first have to fix the issues that make returning to Feral seem so daunting. All that is coming, but it's still going to be slow.

Starting in March, I will start posting works in progress for Feral as Vote incentives for Topwebcomics. These are inked and/or coloured versions of existing Feral pages in varying stages of completion. Some of these may also show up on DeviantArt, but the focus will be on posting them as vote incentives. This will help with rebuilding that audience and will also give me an incentive to work on the pages and immerse myself in Feral again. There's other remaster-related work that also needs doing, but I think I'll be able to carve out time for this now.

An episode intended for publication next Wednesday (Feb. 13) was accidentally posted today. It was rescheduled as soon as the error was discovered; apologies for any confusion. That'll teach me to upload comics in the middle of a migraine headache.

Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan is also on Twitter! Follow it here for the same updates but with tighter character restrictions.
Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan is on Google+! Googleplus it here. We just like to give you choice in what social media to follow us and give us attention on.
We're not quite sure what we want to use our Tumblr for, but it is there and we do post stuff on it.
There's a DeviantArt page as well, which is often the first place new art gets shown.

Spun Off and Abúi's Travels have both updated recently.

The voter incentive at TopWebComics hasn't updated, but we still appreciate it if you go there to vote for us.
You can also Subscribe to ROCR here or at The Belfry to give the comic's popularity a bit of a boost. ROCR updates daily here, so there's no huge practical advantage to subscribing, but it's nice not to have to forget to visit, and it does help us improve our rankings, which draws more readers to the site, so if you do subscribe, thanks!

... that was it, I think.
